There are various ways to experience slips and/or falls while working. You can slip and lose your balance; you can trip over an object left in a walkway; or you can fall from an elevated position such as a ladder or stairs.

You might begin this safety talk by asking your workers if they know what single thing causes more injuries than anything else. The answer is "falls." It is only right that we spend a little more time working to eliminate falls since that they are one of our biggest problem.
